Groningen, the lively university city of the north, is roughly 185 kilometres from Schiphol. The drive via the A6 and A7 across Flevoland takes around two hours. A private transfer is the most comfortable option for students arriving with a lot of luggage and for business visitors heading to the university or UMCG.
Gateway to the north
Groningen is also the gateway to the Wadden Sea coast. If you are travelling on to the island of Schiermonnikoog, we can drive you directly to the ferry terminal at Lauwersoog; other destinations in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe can be booked with the same form.
Students, researchers and business visitors
We drive to student housing, the Zernike Campus in the north of the city, the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) and hotels around the Grote Markt. The inner city is largely car-free, so drop-offs are made at the nearest accessible point.
